I am an Oakland based contemporary abstract artist with an extensive background in fiber art and commercial design. I currently create acrylic and mixed media works on Birch wood panel and paper.
I have participated in many of our nations most competitive juried fine art and craft shows, including the Smithsonian craft show, the Philadelphia Museum of art and craft show, La Quinta arts festival and the Sausalito arts festival. I have won numerous art and design awards and on two occasions I was invited to show my work in China. In the summer of 2007 I was commissioned, by the city of tracy, Ca. to create 5 large scale fiber art pieces for permanent exhibition in the lobby of the newly remodeled Grande Theater Center for the Arts.
